Suzi Woodard Suzi Woodard

I love being a part of the healing and growth of people who want those changes. It is a privilege to be allowed into that very personal and often spiritual process. I enjoy an eclectic practice, working with a wide range of clients and issues in a variety of styles. I have supervised counseling graduate students and counselors for a number of years, and appreciate having the space to do that at our center.

I have been leading workshops and various groups since 1975 and doing psychotherapy since 1985. My experience includes a women's center and women's health counseling service, crisis intervention and community education for substance abuse agencies, group initiatives course and high ropes course facilitation and program coordination, and community education on wellness and emotional/mental health topics. I have also done some small business and non-profit human relations consulting and coaching. I hold certifications as an Our Whole Lives (OWL) Dating and Sexuality Curriculum Facilitator, Prepare/Enrich Couple Therapy Facilitator, and Subtle Yoga counselor/instructor. I am also a certified Triple-P consultant for parents with children ages 3-11 who have disruptive behavior problems (Level 4).

I work best in a supportive group setting and am delighted to be working with a group of skilled professionals in a holistically oriented collaborative setting. Our move to the Boone Business Park building opens exciting new possibilities for us and the community. As our daughter begins her graduate work in California, I hope to have more time available for those workshops and seminars again, both locally and in other locations. I look forward to discovering a balance of psychotherapy, supervision, education, personal/family time, and play that will be a good fit for me in this phase of my life.
